Club and leisure road cycling community for Tiptree, Essex

Welcome to Tiptree Velo. Our aim is to connect all cyclists and bike riders in Tiptree and the surrounding areas, continuing to run the established Saturday leisure rides, putting local riders in touch to enable group rides, training rides, club runs etc. Also providing a network of support for all things cycling.

Club rides

Our Sunday rides are a traditional club run where we endeavour to ride as a group maintaining a moderate average speed, typically 15mph in the winter months, up to around 17.5mph in the summer, and anything in between depending on prevailing conditions.

Leisure rides

Our leisure rides are just that. With an average speed of between 10 and 11 miles per hour we explore the local lanes searching out the best cake stops within a ten mile radius of Tiptree. Meeting outside Tiptree Library on Saturdays; check Facebook for times.
