James and Rosemary took part in the 2018 Pedal for the Js 50 mile sportive on the 15th April. The event started from St Admiral’s Park, Chelmsford and took a lovely scenic route out through Little Waltham, Pleshey, The Rodings, Hatfield Broad Oak to come alongside the M11 before turning back through Roxwell to Chelmsford. Not too hilly with a 1,391 ft elevation – longer inclines rather than short sharp hills. They averaged 14.9 mph – certainly PBs for this year!
