It is with some regret that we have to give sad news, Mary, one of our most determined leisure riders has passed away. Mary joined our rides not long after they started, in spite of many personal struggles she looked forward to her leisure rides, and when able also made the effort to ride during the week, constantly surprising us with her feats of endurance. Mary’s spirit and determination will live long in our memories and epitomises all that is good about the Tiptree Velo leisure rides. I’m sure that many of you will have personal memories of Mary and the rides are a perfect opportunity to share them. If you didn’t have the pleasure of meeting and riding with her then you will find out what you missed on the weekend rides.
